Matthew 12:50
"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father
which is in heaven, the same is my
brother, and sister, and mother"
Christ' preaching would not be interrupted by no one not even His family. Here Christ spoke off the placement of Honor, Love, and Obedience of God and Family. He did not say that the natural affection is to be ignored, but when it comes to serving God, everything has it's place. The less duty must stand by while the greater is done.
Our nearest relations must be loved less than Christ (Luke 14:26), and our duty to God must have preference in our life. Never Get upset with a friend or a loved one the prefers pleasing God before they please you. We must deny ourselves and our own satisfaction before we distract another from their duty to God.
Amen!!
May God Bless You
And Your Families
