The Shepherd Returns For His Flock

                                         Luke 12:32
                   "Fear not, little flock; for it is your father's
                     good pleasure to give you the Kingdom"

        We are encouraged to cast our care upon God, which in fact is the right and only way to be at ease.  As in our stature, so in our state, it is our wisdom to take it as it is.  An eager, anxious pursuit of the things of this world, even if it is the necessary things are unbecoming of the disciples of Christ.  Let us examine whether we belong to this little flock.
        Christ is our Master, and we are His servants; not only working servants, but waiting servants.  We must be as men that wait for their Lord, that sit up while He is out in order to be ready to receive him when he returns.  Christ said during His ascension to heaven, that He is coming to call His people and return to judge the world.  We are uncertain of the time of His coming, therefore we should always be ready.  As a father takes care of his household, we should be wise and take care of our souls, for we known not day or time Christ will return.
        Amen !!
