Zechariah 5:1
"Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes,
and looked, and behold a flying scroll"
The Scriptures of the Old Testament and the New Testament are rolls in which God has written to us, the great things of His law and gospel. Jesus Christ is the master of these rolls, and God's word runs very swiftly. This flying scroll is a curse; it contains a declaration of the righteous wrath of God against those who by swearing, insult intentionally God's Majesty, or by stealing invade others property. This cures goes fourth over the entire face of the earth. All mankind are liable to the judgement of God. Think God for our Saviour who came to redeem us from the curse of the law, by being himself the curse for us.
The world is full of sin and sin will bring a curse upon you. Who can resist the curse which God brings fourth? God will not spare the sinners He finds among His children. God's curse cannot be kept out by locked bars or doors. Unless you repent there is no way to get rid of a curse cause by sin. Let us all fall upon our knees and repent daily. Let us go fourth and love one another as God loves us.
