Our Joy Comes From Christ

                                          John 15:11
                       "These things have I spoken unto you,
                           that my joy might  remain in you,
                            and that your joy might be full"

        Those who God loves as a Father, may despise the hatred of all the world.  As the father loved Christ, who was most worthy, so He loved His disciples, who were unworthy.  All the love the Savior had for the disciples and us, should be continued in our love for Him, and take all occasions to show it. The joy of hypocrites last only a short time, but the joy of those who abide in Christ's love last for ever.
        We are to show our love for God by keeping His commandments.  If the same power that was first shed aboard in our hearts, for the love of Christ and the joy that it encompassed did not keep us, then we will not abide in it.  My friends let us remember the charge that Christ left to us; love one another as He love you.  I will leave you with this thought:  Remember the song, "I Got Joy Down In My Heart?"  Without Christ in the heart's of man there will be no joy!  Share Jesus Christ with someone today.
