The Deceitfulness Of Pride

                                          Obadiah 1:3a,c
                      "The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee
                    who saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down"

        We sometimes build a wall around us, and fortify it with things that will deceive us.   While inside that wall, our heart is filled with pride and we think we are better, stronger than any one else. Just like Edom; we want it our way, then we realize that our heart has become full of pride.  That my friends leads only to destruction.  The only one that can help is our Lord, and our willingness toward Him.
        Let us not speak with a confidence of our own strength, or in contempt of God's judgements.  Carnal security is a sin that most easily drives man in the day of their power, and prosperity. If one dares to challenge God; his challenge will get a response.                          
        Amen!!
