Zechariah 8: 23c
"We will go with you: For we
heard that God is with you"
The Lord of host is putting a positive look on God's future blessing to Judah. Judah will be made holy, and the regathering of His people from world wide dispersion and His reidentification with them takes place. But God ask a rhetorical question in (v-8) to see if they would think it would be to difficult for Him to achieve this act. Of course we know that rhetorical means no answer is expected. In plain English, God is saying: If they are happy, He would be happier.
These people will be so close to God that people from all over will want to follow them. But wait I can give you even better. We don't have to wait we are already close to God through His grace and through the life, death and Resurrection of God's only Son "Jesus Christ." To keep it a close relationship; We have the Holy Ghost as our Comforter and our guide. God made a promise that He would never leave or forsake us. Now if that alone don't bring you joy; you might want to do so checking up.
After all that Our God has given to us we ask our self; "What can I give back to God that is worth while to Him? Friends' that is an easy one! All God wants is us to accept the gift of His Son Jesus Christ and His blood that washed "All" our sins away; and to Love the Lord Our God and to love one another as He loved us. So' I ask you; Is God with you, can others hear and see Christ in you; but most of all will they follow you?
May God Bless You
And Your Families
