Exodus 24:12
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount,
and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law,
and commandments which I have written;
that thou mayest teach them."
In this passage we have four groups of people, let's say four concentric circles of people gathered around Divine Presence. in the outer circle, we have the people, Ex. 24:2; Ex.24:17. Next, we have the seventy elders, Ex. 24:9; Ex. 24:14; then we have Joshua, Ex.24:13; and lastly, Moses, Ex. 24:18.
These represent respectively, the unenlightened; those whose religious life is hindered by their excessive devotion to the flesh; then the few whose fellowship is liable to be interrupted by a call to war or another duty.. Then there is those who have been made nigh unto God in Jesus Christ our Lord, and have been baptized into the Holy Spirit. In which group would you be in?
My Friends, We are invited to draw nigh, let us act on the invitation, "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;" (Heb. 10:19-20). There is always room at the top, and there we may stand, beholding, as in a glass, the glory of Lord. Notice that God said, Come up unto Me, (Ex. 24:1) He longs to have our love and faith. His delights are with the sons of men. At a great cost He has opened the door for us, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace, wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God," (Rom. 5:1-2).
My Friends, We need God, but God wants us, and therefore the construction of the Tabernacle is next on His list, so that He may dwell with man upon the New Earth.
Amen!

The Cross Life Ministry
I have chills from this message. The Spirit is moving in me to move closer and closer as time is running shorter every day. We must all focus on what lies ahead, not behind or in the present. Do not leave friends and gamily behind without encouraging them also to hear their calling and move forward into the Light of God!
