Faith Of Others

Luke 5:20
"And when he saw their faith, he said unto him,
Man, thy sins are forgiven thee."

What does this passage about forgiving sins mean? We must remember that sin was always connected to suffering in early Bible days. The sufferer often had even a morbid sense of sin. That's why Jesus began by telling this Paralytic man his sins were forgiven. Without that the man would never believe that he could be cured. This shows how the scribes and Pharisees were routed in belief.
They objected to Jesus claiming to extend forgiveness to the  Paralytic men. But their own arguments and assumptions were that the man was ill because he had sinned, and if he was cured that was proof that his sins were forgiven. Well needless to say, the outcome left the Pharisees speechless.
The wonderful thing is that here is a man who was saved by the faith of his friends. When Jesus saw their faith; that eager faith of those who stopped at nothing to bring their friend to Jesus and he received his cure.
My Friends, our faith can change other peoples lives. There is nothing like a warrior prayer chain. You and your "Faith," alone can change things in other peoples lives, Just Think Faith in The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Saved and Changed You"!
Amen!
