Look On Tomorrow

                                           Luke 16:1
"And he said also unto his disciples,
there was a certain rich man which had
a steward; and  the same was accused
unto him that he had wasted his goods"

Not much can be said for this dishonest Stewart except that he knew to survive in his corrupt business.  So why would Jesus compliment him?  Well, Jesus did not compliment his corrupt business practices.  Jesus was saying that those who live all their lives and never plan for eternity are less wise than corrupt bookkeepers who may embezzle but always have an eye on the future.
Always keep an eye on tomorrow for today is not ultimate enough to mean anything, and yesterday is spent. Those who focus on yesterday we call traditionalists.  Those who live for the moment we call momentary.  Those who live for tomorrow we call people of destiny.  This is the category to be cherished by the people of God.  Eternity is real, and it is on the way.  Living only for today is living that cannot survive your lifetime.  Plan to inherit eternal life.  Move confidently toward your imperishable tomorrow.
