Glory Not In What You Do For Others

                                          Matthew 6:4
"And thy Father which seeth in secret
                           himself shall reward them openly."

One of our most rewarding Christian duties is to; show kindness, help in times of need and to  express Christ' love toward others. My friends, this is not a challenge from me to you, to jump out there and start stacking rewards up. Why not? Because when we start taking notice of our deeds, God takes less notice of them.
When we begin to take notice of our deeds, even though others may benefit, these deeds are dead to God, because they have became self- served. They where done for our own personal gain, (IE) a position in Church, something to brag on, or just to make us feel good.
All above are the wrong answers! Deeds are done from the heart of a man. A man need not search for deeds, God will place them in front of you. God will not announce it to you, but you will know that God has put something in front of you to act upon. Here is the simplest way I know to respond to God on this. Since He told you in "secret" What ever God puts before you, He would like you to kept it between you and Him. Then what ever God put before you will be blessed on both ends. Remember let us not serve our God just for rewards; Let's serve Him because we Love Our God.
        Amen!!
