John 10:27
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know
them, and they follow me"
Remember cruising around the hangouts in town, and your shotgun guy has his ear bent toward the radio. He tunes it and tunes it, and finally he says, "That's it, that's the one I am looking for!" I recognize that voice. We train our ears to listen to the things we know. However, we seem to search the hardest, when we are searching for something that has our heart and mind.
In our Christian life, we know the importance of recognizing God's voice and tuning others out. When making decisions we what to make sure we hear the right "Person." The Bible assures us as Christians, that we can distinguish God's voice from all others. (John 10:27)
The Lord's voice is heard throughout Scripture. Let the Holy Spirit bring to mind the truths related to your situation. Sometimes what God says may seem illogical in terms of human reasoning. Or it might clash with our fleshly desires. It can be tempting to dismiss a voice that doesn't support the way we perceive our goals in life, but God's children need to align themselves with His directions regardless. My friends, Our Saviour is calling, can you recognize His voice?
Amen!!
