Battle Of Dependencies

                                           Romans 8:37
"Nay in all things we are more than conquerors
                                   through him that loved us."

My friends this is a "powerful," Scripture, that all Christians should be repeating back to God daily through out our lives. Just because you, and I may believe in God and want to serve Him; don't mean that we can do it by ourselves.
Why do we have the right to say we are "Conquerors" in all things?  Is it just because the death and resurrection of Christ?  No, that is just part of the reason. the other part is we must "believe" that this happened and become a believer in Christ. For we know that nothing separates the believer from God's Love!
The Love of our Lord Jesus has helped thousands of Christians conqueror, distress, persecution,
depression, financial problems, and numerous more; However there is one area that we all what to battle ourselves, and that my friends is a dependence.
A dependence is something we thank we need and are so used to it, we can't let it go. So the first thing we do is to say well It is not a sin! I have searched the Scriptures and it's not in the Bible. First we must remember why God provided His Written Word for us. Without the Bible, what would be know about the creation of the universe, the fall of man, the judgement of God, or the promise of redemption? Since God is invisible, we may know Him "only" through His works, which we see daily in nature revealed in Scripture, and accomplished of the believer.
So now let's look at ourselves, do I have a dependence?  What's the thing you just can't give up?
Money, sex, drugs, alcohol, smoking and energy drinks are some of the major dependencies. If one of these are a dependence of yours, and your a believer; this list here, is part of  "in all things we are more than conquerors."  I know it's not an easy battle by yourself; just take it to Christ' for he said; "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matt. 11:29-30). Now that's an invitation you can't turn down!
        Amen!!
