Weakness In The Law

                                        Romans 8:3
                       "For what the law could not do, in that
                             it was weak through the flesh"

        Since the Law has no claim on a saved soul, the Law cannot condemn that soul.  This was its weakness, but God sent His son not to condemn the world, the law had already done that, but to save the world.  Jesus dealt with sin by keeping the Law in all points.  The Law of sin and death simply does not apply to a saved soul, anymore than the laws of one country apply to citizens of another.
        Here is the exciting part.  Since the law of sin and death has no claim on us and cannot condemn us, it can no longer control us.  Every child of God has a choice.  We can walk after the flesh or after the Spirit.  Lost people can follow the Holy Spirit's conviction to faith in Jesus; saved people have the leadership of the Holy Spirit available every day to guide them in every decision they make.  God guides us primarily through His Word.  As we read the Bible and apply the truth of the Bible to our hearts, we can choose to walk after the Spirit in our everyday lives.  Knowing for certain that Heaven is your home and that you will go there immediately after you die will change your life forever.  All life changes when we know this wonderful truth.  We live in Liberty.   Amen!!
