Job 17:11
"My days are past, my purposes are broken off"
"even the thoughts of my heart"
Job is appealing from himself to God. His hope is not focused on life but death. Job's friends pretended and talking foolish when they were telling him that he would recover and be prosperous; "Because they were speaking of this world. When we need comfort or give comfort, It is our duty with the wisdom that God has giving us to comfort ourselves, and others in distress with, that which will not fail. "The Promise of Eternal Life."
Let's look at our self; are we willing to go when God calls us home, or are we going to hang on to the corruption of this world. Our purpose down here will be done, and a change of focus will take place; For the hope of the wicked shall be put out in darkness, and our souls will enjoy the rest reserved for the people of God,
