Be Not Insincere

                                          Zechariah 7:12
                  "Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone,
                       least they should hear the law, and the words
                         which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his
                                spirit by the former prophets;"

        God's judgments' upon Israel for their sins, were written to warn all Christians, about our duties. For example when they had fasted, mourned and offered sacrifices for those seven years; they did not fast unto God! God ask, "did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?"  "And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?" (Zech. 7:5,6).
        God was telling them, and Christians today; that keeping fasts was and is not a duty done for one's self.  But; that our duties were to do justly, show loving mercy, and tend to the public, faithfully  and live in peace with each other. My friends God is not saying once in a while and not just one particular thing. We are not under law, but we are under "His Grace" so if He tells us to do something, My friends that becomes our duty.
        The Lord always hears the cry of the broken hearted. But, remember that sin in your heart will certainly spoil the success of prayer.
