On His Authority

                                           Joshua 1:9
                   "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and
                      of good courage; be not afraid, neither be
                       thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is
                         with thee whithersoever thou goest."

        After the death of Moses, the Lord charged Joshua to pass over Jordon, and go in and possess the land which the He had promised Moses. When The Lord charged Joshua to continue on after Moses; that call to courage was a call to faith. Believing God's promise would lead both to courage and to obedience. God's promises are still the same today "if" you believe!
        There will be times in our lives, when the Holy Spirit may say to us, "Have I not commanded thee?" Well my friend, that is not just a reminder. God has direct control and authority over all His creation. If you are a believer God has authority and control over your life. What ever God is leading you to do, and no matter how hard you think it will be; "if" you believe, it will be done.
        Amen!!
