All From God Is Good

                                            1 Timothy 4:4
                 "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to
                     be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:"

        When, fallible human beings seek to worship the infinite, Holy God, the temptation arises to establish to an easy to follow formula of do's and don'ts. By forbidding certain things and requiring others, they are able to reassure themselves of their own righteousness while condemning those who do not live by those rules. The problem with this is that man-made rules do not come from God. Paul reminds us that everything God created is good and we should receive all his good gifts with thankful hearts.
        Our Lord, has created good things for us to enjoy. Let's us receive them with thanksgiving and then use them for His honor and glory.
        Amen!!
