God Multiplies To Our Pardon

                                          Amos 7:3
"The Lord repented for this, it
shall not be, saith the Lord"

Let us not take this verse wrong, for God is The Almighty God that is never wrong in his decisions that He makes.  He did not change His mind, He changed His way; He took another course in mercy.  He said, "It shall not be."  God bears long but He will not bear always with provoking people.  The remembrance of the mercies we formerly received, should make us submissive to the will of God. When we meet with disappointments in our life, the Lord has many ways of humbling us.  No matter what trouble we are in we should be most earnest for the forgiveness of sin.  As it happen to Israel, sin will make those who think there indestructible a small and humble person.
What a blessing praying churches, friends, and Mon's and Dad's are.  Many times we are in need of a reprieve, but don't ask for it, however when ask by others in prayer, God inclines to grant it.  It is the Glory of God that He multiplies to our pardon.  God is always listening and wanting us to call upon Him in all things.  So call upon God today, He will answer.
        Amen!!

No Friendship! No Fellowship!

                                         Amos 3:3
                             "Can two walk together,
                               except they be agreed?"

If all the favors of God does not refrain us from sin, then they will not exempt us from punishment.  God hates sin in all people; However He hates sin most in those that nearest to Him.  No one can expect any comfortable communion with God, unless they first make peace with him.  Where there is no "Friendship" there cannot be "Fellowship."
God and man cannot walk together except they are agreed.  Unless we seek His Glory, we cannot walk with Him.  Let us not presume God given privileges, without His sanctifying grace.  The threatening of the word and providence of God against the sin of man are certain, and certainly show that the judgements of God are at hand.  Know, that God will not remove the affliction that He sends until it has done it's work; therefore it would be who of us to stay in complete union with God.
        Amen!!

Don't Just Under Go Change; Live The Change

                                           Ezekiel 18:31
"Cast away from you all your transgressions,
by which ye have transgressed, and make
                          yourselves a new heart and a new spirit;
for why will you die, O house of Israel"

It is know that the Lord will judge each of us according to our ways. This is an exhortation to repent.  God does not command what cannot be done, but admonishes us to do what is in our power, and teaches us to pray for what is not.  God's Ordinances and means are appointed directions and promises that He has given; that those who desire this change can obtain this change.
Many people have undergone this change, (ie) "The New Birth In Christ;"  However some has treated it as an overnight sensation of feeling guilty, and soon after, their feeling's just fade away.  I say to them; "Do you not know that life is like an ship lost at sea; it's moving but with no plotted destination and therefore headed for destruction?"
Learn to trust God and His Name!  In Ezekiel 20:14 it reads, "For the sake of my name" This expresses one of God's motives in dealing with humanity, all though it means so little to a lot of people in this world today.  The name of the Lord is precious to Him, so why can it not be precious to us; for what God has given to us, "His Son On The Cross" for our sins, and deliverance from the pits of Hell.  Jesus Christ paid The penalty for all mankind, the good and the bad, because we are all sinners. If you know Christ walk with Him daily; if you don't I pray you seek Him today.
        Amen!!

Deliverance Is Not An Allusion

                                            John 11:25
                           "I am the resurrection, and the life;
he that believeth in me, though
he were dead, yet shall he live"

The blood or life of Christ is called our ransom and the price of our redemption.  This expression is not a mere allusion!  By no means!  These words contain truth and reality.  Christ came to redeem us from the power of sin and Satan, and He paid for our deliverance, with the price of His own blood.
Since we are sure to rise in the last days, and we believe in the hope of  Resurrection; Why is it not easy for us to put off the this body of life and die, as easy as it is, for us to pull of our clothes  and go to sleep?  A true Christian when he dies, does not go to sleep; he rest from the labours of the past day.  Death cannot separate us from the love of Christ, nor put us out of reach of his call.  Like Thomas, in difficult times Christians should encourage one another.  The dying of our Lord Jesus should make us willing to die when ever God calls us home.
        Amen!!

An Oath Taken; Is Not Meant For Breaking!

                                           Ezekiel 17:18
"Seeing he despised the oath by breaking
the covenant when, lo, he had given
his hand, and hath done all these
                                  things he shall not escape"

Zedekiah had been ungrateful to his benefactor, which is a sin against God.  When a person takes a position of service, be it, "Country, County, President of the United States or any office that one must be sworn in; In every solemn Oath, that is taken; God is appealed to as a witness of the sincerity of him that swears.
Being true is a debt owing to all men.  If believers of Jesus Christ, mark themselves by betrayal of fidelity, confidence, or trust with those of a false religion, their profession of that religion makes their sin the worse, and God will surely and severely punish them.  The Lord will not hold those guiltless who takes His name in vain; and no man shall escape the righteous judgement of God who dies under unrepentant sin.
But know this!  The Kingdom of Satan, which has borne so long, so large, shall be broken, and the Kingdom of Christ, which was looked upon with contempt, shall be established.  We may find refuge from the wrath to come, and from every enemy and danger, under His shadow.  Blessed be to God, Our Redeemer will be seen even by the ends of the earth.

Fruit Of The Vine

                                           Ezekiel 15:2
"Son of man, What is the vine tree more than
any tree, or than a branch which is
among the trees of the forest?"

Ezekiel described the vine tree, as a symbol for unregenerate man in general, to the Gentiles, but in particular to Israel.  Just as the vine is tough, twisted, unworkable, and fit only to burn for fuel;  those who are marked by stubborn resistance to, and defiance of authority and guidance are fit only for judgement.  Christ intent here is to portray the living union between Himself and believers.  Worthlessness of the wood is wholly subordinated to the single, positive function of the vine; that of bearing fruit.
Our Lord takes the vine wood, as represented in Ezekiel, as mankind ruined by sin, and transforms it into the parable of Himself as the vine and Christians as His branches, bearing fruit for Him.  Yielding a precious fruit; in the service of God, should not be taken lightly, for this is the sole end of man's existence.  If he fails in this, he is of no use but to be destroyed.
What blindness we have when we live in total neglect of God and of true religion!  This therefore is an example for us to understand.  Let us beware of an unfruitful service to Our Lord.  We must come to Christ, and seek to abide in Him, and to have His Word abide in us.  We as believers, should be a strong branch of God, and bear good fruit!
        Amen!!

The Pearl Of Great Price

                                          Matthew 13:45
"Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like
                           merchant man seeking fine pearls"

When we look upon precious pearls, and how they are place in their settings; we think on the mysteries of how they become pearls?  A pearl is formed by accretion: (Growth or increase in size by gradual external addition, fusion, or inclusion).  What does a pearl have to do with God's Word?  Because to God; The true Church is the pearl of a great price.  Its formation covers a large part of the period of mysteries of the Kingdom, which in itself is called a mystery (Romans 16:25-26).
A Pearl is an illustration of the church; first as I said before, the pearl is formed by accretion and not mechanically but vitally, as Christ adds to the Church (Acts 2:41,47; 5:14).  And Christ having given Himself for the pearl (the Church) He is now preparing it for presentation to Himself (Ephesians 5:25-27).  Know that the Kingdom is not the Church, but the true children that are baptized by one Spirit into one body, compose the Church, "The Pearl of Great Price."  Are you a part of God's Church that has been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ? The Church is paid for by Christ, it will cost you a new birth through repentance of you sins.  Seek Jesus Christ Today!!
        Amen!!

A Gospel Without Grace?

                                            Galations1:6
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from
him that called you into the grace
                                of Christ unto another gospel"

Apostle Paul was astonished at what was going on in a group of churches in Galatia.  He was astonished by two things.  The first was, they were turning to another Gospel; and they were in the process of turning from simple grace to a mixture of law and grace.  In fact Paul said; "they were turning from grace (out of grace).  This however did not mean that they lost their Salvation, but they moved themselves out of the sphere of Grace into the sphere of Law.
Being in "Grace" means that I depend on God to meet my needs; not some but all my needs.  Being in the "Law" means that I try to handle all things myself, with all that is in me.  The test of the Gospel is "Grace."  If a message excludes grace, or mingles law with grace as the means of justification or sanctification (Galatians 2:21; 3:1-3), or denies the fact or guilt of sin; "which alone gives occasion and opportunity for grace."
If it is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as God per-ordained and is not in line with God's Written Word; Then it is "another gospel."  Let us not be fast or simply dumb enough to turn from The Truth of The Gospel, to another gospel that we ourselves like; or that just fits what we are looking for or  want in our lives.  My friends there's only one True Gospel;  "The Gospel Of Jesus Christ"

The Time Is Now! Step Out for Christ!

                                           John7:6
"My time is not yet come; but
                                your time is always ready"

The hour of human decision had already past, as far as the establishment of the Kingdom is concerned (Luke 19:41-44). Jesus had been rejected by His own Nation and, therefore, the temporal blessings of that Kingdom, for both Jews and Gentiles had to be deferred until Christ's return to glory (Isaiah 60:1-4) and (Acts 15:16-17).  Then the greater hour had arrived; the hour of Christ glorification through death and resurrection.  Even though this hour, was set by the counsel and foreknowledge of God; Jesus Christ stepped out and brought eternal life to all who believe.
When we turn to Jesus Christ to be forgiven and be saved, we have that eternal life.  However; it's not just a phrase that you say in passing!  You must step up and ask from your heart for forgiveness, then acknowledge, accept and believe that you are forgiven.  Now you must step out and share "Your Gospel Story" with others around you.  You will face trials and tribulation and have to fight some battles; but you won't be alone.  As you step out for Christ; remember,  "The Victory Has Been Won."
        Amen!!

What Will It Be; Trial's, Signs Or Faith!

                                           Judges 6:39
"And Gideon said unto God, let not thine anger
be hot against me, and I will speak but this
once, let me make a trial, I pray thee,
but this once more with the fleece"

Gideon was chosen to save Israel from the Midianites;  However Gideon did not think he measured up to the task.  The Lord said, "Go in this thy might, and thou shall save Israel." To give Gideon more will, power, and confidence, the Lord said, "Have I not sent thee".  Of coarse Gideons's reply was; " What will I save Israel with, my family is poor, and I am the least in my fathers house."  And again the Lord told him that he would be with him as he smite the midianites, just as if he had done it by himself.  Now that was a big task for Gideon, and even though the Lord had total trust in Gideon;  Gideon still wanted a trial between himself and the Lord.  Gideon was not seeking to learn God's will, because that had already been clearly revealed to him. ( verse 14-16).
Gideon did this to strengthen the weakness of his own faith;  and to give him evidence that would convince the people that he was really God's chosen man to lead them into battle.  Let us not use this "make a trial" as Gideon did;  just to get God to show you a sign to confirm anything that he wants you to do.  Because if God calls you to do something, then He will supply your needs, in his own time.
You will be wasting yours and God's time by trying to make deals of proof on something God has already shown you by conviction.  Never,! Never! seek trial's with God because of your weakness of faith!  You might not like what you you receive and how you received it.
        Amen!!

Things Are Ready ! Are You?

                                          John 16:33
"These things I have spoken unto you, that
in me ye might have peace.  In the world
ye shall have tribulation; but be of good
cheer, I have overcome the world."

Are you beaten?  Are you ready to throw in the towel?  Has discouragement wrapped its cold, gray fingers around your heart, choking all the optimism out of you.  To some, the world looks like a big ball of rolling conflict from North down to the South, and East out to the West.  Never let all the confusion, wars, and hate that's in this world, take you so low that you lose all hope and faith in what you see and hear.  It would be like reading the first part of a book, and just quit.  If your life is like a raging tornado, and is destroying everything around you;  I recommend that you read Matthew chapter 24, and the last book in the Bible.
You will see that even though we go through trials and tribulations, God is always with us.  You will see that the battle for our freedom from sin and eternal life with Jesus Christ can not be taken away.  And we will set with Christ as he sets on his throne, on the right side of God.  We will no longer be children living by faith through grace; but we will be living totally in, around, and with grace its self.

The Keeper Of life Is God

                                          Psalm 121:8
"The Lord shall preserve thy going out
and thy coming in from this forth
                                  and even for evermore"

When we go out in the morning to work and come home at the end of the day to rest, God shall keep us.  When we go out in youth to begin life, and come back in at the end to die, we shall experience the same keeping.  Our exits and our entrances are under one protection.  The phrase " Jehovah shall keep," is spoken three times as if the sacred Trinity had sealed the word to make it sure.  Ought not all our fears to be slain by such a threefold flight of arrows?  What can destroy this triple promise?  This keeping is eternal, continuing from this time forth, even for evermore.
The whole church is assured of everlasting security.  The final perseverance of the saints is ensured, and the glorious immortality of believers is guaranteed.  None are so safe as those whom God keeps; now so much in danger as the self secure.  God will keep the door when it open and closes, and this he will continue to do so long as there is left a single man that trust in him, as long as danger is around, and in fact as long as time endures.  Glory be to our living God.  As the world builds in conflict, we sense our growing weakness, and it makes us feel more the need to be kept by our God.  Let us all pray this prayer:  " God keep me safe from harm and sin and thy Spirit keep me; The Lord watch over my going out and coming in for evermore

Going To God In Prayer

                                       "Be Faithful In Prayer"

We are encouraged to continue faithfully in prayer and to be persistent in our prayers. Since we want to receive from God, we need to ask specifically what it is that we wish to receive from him. As we pray faithfully and persistently, we can trust God will always answer.  His response may not be the exact answer we were hoping for, but he will answer according to his perfect will.
Regardless of what the answer is, we know that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose."  Obeying God's word brings victory in life.  We have to maintain a close relationship with Christ through praying, reading, and obeying his word.  When we have totally committed and yielded our lives to him, we will get the answers we are looking for and find perfect peace through prayer.
        Amen!!

Our Search For Significance

                                            Romans 12:3
"For I say, though the grace given unto me, to
every man that is among you, not to think
of himself more highly than he ought to
think; but to think soberly,  according
as God hath dealt to every man
                                       the measure of faith"

The basic personal need of each person is to think them-self a worthwhile human being.  Everyone wants to have a happy, successful, pleasurable belief in them-self.  A biblical self concept, however, goes far beyond that limited perspective.  It is an acute perception of ourselves, God, and others based on the truths of God.  An accurate biblical self-concept contains both strength and humility, both sorrow over sin and joy about forgiveness, and a deep sense of the reality of God's grace.
Whether we label it "self-esteem" or "self worth," the feeling of significance is important to man's emotional, spiritual and social stability, and the driving element within the human spirit.  What a waste to attempt to change our behavior, if we don't understand the needs that cause the change.  Yet millions of people spend a lifetime searching for love, acceptance and success without understanding the need that compels them.  We must understand that this hunger for self-worth is God given and can only be satisfied by him. Our value is not based on what others feel or think about us, but rather, its the true source of love and acceptance of God. He created us.  He alone knows how to fulfill all our needs.
        Amen!

Pray To The God Of Heaven

                                           Nehemiah 2:4
"Then the King said unto me, For what
dost thee make request?  So I prayed
                                      to the Lord of heaven"

Our prayers must be backed with serious endeavors, or we are just mocking God.  We are not limited to certain moments in our talks with God, because we have liberty to go to him at any time.  Approaches to the throne of grace are never out of season.  But the sense of God's displeasure and the afflictions of his people were and are the causes of sorrow to the children of God, which no earthly delights can comfort. We must have courage to tell our mind to God, with boldness.  That is the invitation Christ has given us to pray and the promise that we shall be encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace.
Nehemiah prayed to God of heaven. He lifted up his heart to the God who understands the language of the heart.  My friends we should also seek and expect the Divine direction assistance, and blessing.  For just as Nehemiah received his answer to his prayer, we will also receive ours.
        Amen!

Turning On The Light

"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee,
saying This is the way, walk ye in it, when
ye turn to the right hand, and
when ye turn to the left"

Why do some of us lack objectivity?  Why can't we see the reality of our lives?  Why are we afraid to "turn on the light"?  Perhaps we think our situations are "normal," because when we experience loneliness, hurt, and anger we think that's all there is to life.  There is a sense of need that drives us to look for an alternative.  We may have the courage to examine ourselves and may desperately want to change, but may be unsure of how and where to start.  We may refuse to look honestly within for fear of what we'll find, or we may be afraid that even if we can discover what's wrong, nothing could help us.
It is difficult; if not impossible to turn on the light of objectivity by ourselves.  We need guidance from the Holy Spirit, as well as the honesty, love and encouragement of another person who's willing to help.  Whether your hurts are deep or mild, it is wise to be honest about them in relationships so that healing can begin.  Many of us mistakenly believe that God doesn't want us to be honest about our lives.  Just remember God will not be upset if you tell Him how you really feel.  God tells us that He does not want us to be superficial in our relationship with him, with others or in our own lives.  David wrote; "Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom." (Psalm 51:6)
The Lord desires truth and honesty at the deepest level, and wants us to experience His love, forgiveness and power in all ares of our lives.  Experiencing His love does not mean that all thoughts, emotions and behaviors will be pleasant and pure:  It means we can be real, feel pain and joy, love and anger, confusion and confidence.  My friends if you don't know Jesus Christ, "The Light Of This World,"  find Him today and turn your light on and be real in your walk with God.
        Amen!!

The Freedom Of Truth

                                             John 8:32
"And ye shall know the truth and
the truth shall make you free"

Christ was referring not only to an intellectual asset to the truth, but also to the application of truth in the most basic issues of life.  Our goals, our motives, and our sense of self worth.  Unfortunately, many of us give only lip-service to the powerful truths of the scriptures without allowing them to affect the basic of our self- esteem.  Instead, we continue to seek our security and purpose from worldly sources, such as personal success, status, beauty, wealth and the approval of others.  These type of rewards may fulfill us for a short time, but they soon lead us to a sense of urgency to succeed and be approved again.
To meet those compelling needs, we drive our-self to achieve virtually anything to make people happy with us, and spend countless hours and dollars trying to look "just right" We often avoid situations and people when the risk of failure and rejection are high.  Its a rat race that can't be won by simply running faster. We must get off this hopeless treadmill of life and learn to apply the Foundation Truths that can motivate us to live for Christ rather that for the approval of others.
Christ's death paid the penalty for our sins, and his resurrection gives us new life, new goals, and new hope.  He has given us complete security and purpose.  These are not based on our ability's, but on his grace and the power of the Holy Spirit.  Yes, Christ wants us to be zealous and ambitious, but not about our success or status.  If we understand His forgiveness and acceptance, we will pursue the right things in Christ and His cause, we will be free to enjoy his love.  I pray that all will find the freedom of truth.
         Amen!!

Breaking Away From Sin

                                           Romans 12:2
"And do not be conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what is that good
and acceptable, and perfect will of God"

How can we break free from the law of sin and begin to grow in Christ?  How can we assist in the process that will enable us to follow him?  To change our behavior, we usually need to see others that are being honest, and who are in the process of applying spiritual truths to their lives.  In our environment, and through our personal study of God's Word, we can reject earthly thoughts and replace them with those that are spiritual.  Solomon wrote, "As a man thinks within himself, so he is" (Proverbs 23:7).
Our thoughts affects the way we feel, the way we perceive ourselves and others, and ultimately, the way we act.  The way we think can determine whether we will live according to God's Truth or the worlds value system.  The relationship of thinking, feeling and acting are not always unidirectional.  Our thoughts emotions and behaviors are dependent on each other.  Changing how we think, feel, and act is a process that involves the Holt Spirit, honesty, time, modeling affirmation and truth.  My friends never think that change in you and the breaking away from the law of sin is not by  your way, because its not, and never will be. it is only by the way of the Holy Spirit.

Amen!!!

Worship In Spirit

                                          John 4:24
"God is Spirit, in those who worship
him must worship in spirit and truth"

Question!  Is there a certain place where we are supposed to worship, or a proper place?  Worship is not a matter of a place or position. Our worship should come from the heart. We worship in spirit, because God is Spirit.  If we focus too much on the time and place, there is a danger that our ritual of worship will overshadow the one we worship.  But as we discover more of who God is, worship becomes more fulfilling, and we gain more understanding about God. Worship in spirit and truth.
        Amen!!

To Know God Is To Love God

                                           1 John 3:22
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him,
because we keep his commandments, and
do those things that are pleasing in his sight"

If we as believers have confidence towards God through the spirit of adoption, and by faith we may ask what we will of our Farther.  We will receive all that is good for us from God, and just as good will to men was proclaimed from heaven, so good will to men, particularly to the brethren, must be in the hearts of those who go to God.
He who follows Christ, dwells in Him as his refuge and rest.  The union between Christ and the souls of believers, is maintained by the Spirit that He has given us.  A man may believe that God is gracious before he even knows it; yet, when faith has laid hold on the promises, it sets reason to work, for the Spirit of God works a change in all true Christians.  It changes from the power of Satan to the power of God.
Consider how it changes your heart.  Do we not long for peace with God?  Would you not forgo all the world for Him?  No profit, pleasure should hinder us from following Christ.  Salvation is built upon divine testimony.  Have you shared your testimony with others around you?  To know God is to love God, and to love God is to be obedient, and share The Gospel of Our Lord and Saviour "Jesus Christ" to the world.
        Amen!!

Working With God

                                         Psalm 91:15
"He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble; I will
                             deliver him, and honor him"

We all know that each day we face is different. And each day is started with a refreshed mind and body, and God's Grace of another breath of life.  But will this day go as planed?  Did we pray for an answer to come from God?  For when we call upon God we get answers.  We have His divine presence in times of severe trials.  God is always near in sympathy and in power to help His Children. Believers are not delivered or preserved in a way which lowers them, and makes them feel themselves degraded, because God's salvation bestows honor upon those it delivers.  God first gives us conquering grace, and then rewards us for it.
At times God will leave us in the hands of angels, to keep us in all our ways and pick us up if we dash our foot against rock.  But when we are in trouble He will say; "Stand aside", I will take care of  them myself.  So the times you feel lonely or fell like you did not receive what you feel you should have, then think back to the end of yesterday and the beginning of today.  Did you talk to God, did you honor God, did you have faith in God and most of all : did you talk to Him in pray and supplication.  My friends that is  "Working with God."
