Matthew 9:2
"Son be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee"
This is what Jesus said to the crippled man sick with palsy, "Thy sins be forgiven." Now remember some other people brought him there to see Jesus. This man could not interact with other people. If his palsy was complete paralysis, he probably could not even speak or make eye contact. Jesus seeing "their faith" said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
Now this man was healed by the faith, that Jesus saw in the one's that brought the man there. Then the scribes said that Jesus blasphemed. Why would they do that? Well all they could see was with their eyes and not there heart. The people that brought the man there saw with their heart only. They knew he was healed as soon as Jesus said; thy sins are forgiven. The scribes wanted to see action at that point, they had no ideal what Jesus was talking about.
So Jesus answered them in a very simple way. Is it easier to say; sins be forgiven; or get up and walk. Jesus was talking about himself, for He knew that He would die on the Cross for the mans sins. Yes the real easy way would have been say get up and walk. But Christ knew that would only make them satisfied and not get His point across. You must have Faith that is from the heart and not from what you see. There is nothing impossible if you have Faith in Jesus Christ. Our heart's and thought's are known before we even ask God to do something or ask Him for something. But above all He knows are 'Faith"
