God Is In Control

2Chronicles 20:6  

"And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? 

and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in 

thine hand is there not power and might, so that 

none is able to withstand thee?" 

    Sadly, I think most would agree that both campaigns got out of hand during this Presidential  election. Personal attacks, name calling, accusations  and even violence have marked this political season. As it stands, we have perhaps the greatest division between both sides of the voting public.
    Thankfully, those of us who believe in God have our hope in something higher than the winner of this election. We know that no matter who takes office come January, God is still on His throne, still in charge, still sovereign over all.
    Give thanks to God for the blessing of living under a democratic political system. There are many today living under oppressive rule who do not enjoy that blessing. And, at the same time, resist the temptation to give in to fear. May we all hold fast to our knowledge that God is and will continue to be in control.  My Friends, no matter which candidate is elected as our  Commander And Chief, we as America citizens must Honor and Support the Authority of the position of  The Commander And Chief of The United States of America.  Most of all let's all have faith in God! For God Is In Control
