False Prophets Don't Except God's True Word!

                                         Ezekiel 12: 21; 12:23b
"The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth."
"I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall
no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say
unto them, The days are at hand and
                                     the effect of every vision."

This proverb spoken by God revealed the lack of faith in God among the people of Israel.   (Ezekiel 12:21-25).  The problem was not that visions were failing, but that the Jews were given prophecies about destruction they did not want to hear.  The only vision that they accepted were those that promised peace and were proclaimed by the false prophets.
The Lord said in Ezekiel; "For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel." (Ezekiel 12:24).  We see that God has already spoke about vain vision's and flattering divination to the house of Israel.  God also dealt with the false prophecies then and in our time as well.  "Thus saith the Lord God; there shall none of my words be prolonged any more but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God" (Ezekiel 12:28).
As we wait for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ these same false prophets will be preaching false doctrine, that is not of God, and promise's of peace and wealth.  My friends it will be so strong that even people that are serving and preaching The Gospel of Jesus Christ, will be converted by these false prophets.  Remember God has made it clear to all people. "There Is No Other God, But The Lord God Almighty.     Amen!!!

It Is Written, Therefore It Shall Be!

                                          Job 19:25
"For I know that my Redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the
                                     day upon the earth"

Job thinks that his life is coming to an end and desires some hope with which to sustain himself.  It is important to remember that at this time no portions of Scripture has been written down, so there was no way that Job could have know all that has been revealed to us about heaven. In Job's life time very little had been revealed about the resurrection of the body, so they rested in hope that their disembodied spirit would remain.  Job's usage of phrases like "the grave"and "keep me secret" reflect his desire for the time when his soul would be separated from his present affliction and would be vindicated by God from the accusations his friends were making.  At this time Job begins to trust in a physical resurrection of his body.  Job sought for one who would redress his wrongs and avenge his injuries.
Job acknowledges that God alone can be is 'Redeemer."  Job recognized fully that he was serving the living God.  He knew that God was alive and concerned with his individual life.  My friends, that is "trust, and hope" in things that are believed, and "faith" in the things not seen.  God 's word has been written down for us. God loves us so much he made a road map, and by His Grace and the blood of "Jesus Christ" He gave us eternal life with Him.  Turn to Christ and let Him lead your path; and if you lose sight of Him, "Just look for His footsteps in front of you."   Amen!!

The Costs Of Serving God

                                          Ezekiel 24:15
"Son of man, behold, I take away from thee
the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet
neither shalt thou mourn nor weep,
neither shall thy tears run down"

This is a clear example of the costs involved in serving God.  The names of Isaiah and Hosea's children were signs to all Israel (Is. 7:3; 8:3, 4;  Hos. 1:4, 6, 9).  Hosea was told to take a wife who would be unfaithful (Hos. 1:2; 3:1).  Jeremiah was told not to marry at all (Jer. 16:2). Ezekiel, however faced a test that was even more severe.  God took his wife whom he dearly loved ( "the desire of your eyes," Ezek 24:16), and commanded him not to morn (Ezek 24:16,17).  This biblical custom is often difficult for us to understand.  "Professional mourners" were hired and and all who were in morning wore sackcloth and ashes.  They help the people to externalize and cope with their grief.  These actions were also regarded as a demonstration of respect for the deceased.  In other words, Ezekiel's failure to morn the death of his wife gave to the people the impression that he had no true affection for his wife, when in fact Ezekiel was obeying God's command.
All though this is not a custom that we practice today.  It is one of the hardest commands that a person would have to obey from God.  So my friends, when God commands you to do something even though others will look at you as "not caring, not interested and not thinking clearly; remember what God gave up for you, "His Son Jesus Christ".  Look at it this way.  The cost was high for our salvation and union with God; therefore our cost is to obey God No matter what we want or what others might say!!  Let's put God first!!    Amen!!

He Lives Within

                                         Galatians 2:20a
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless
I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:"

Some experience, all the Good News about all Jesus does for them.  They realize that the Good News begins for them personally in the new birth of water and spirit.  But they feel, "I am not ready.  I am not good enough yet."  Just think of how Apostle Paul felt when he was chosen by the Lord Himself to become one of the writers of God's Word.
We all have feelings of inadequacy, which we ought to have, because sin has weakened us all.  That is the point of the Good News.  We will never be "good enough" to measure up to God's greatness.  If we depend on "Righteous things" we have done, we will never be ready.  But the Good News turns around our failures in this way:  When we recognize our failings and need , then we are most ready for the Savior.  When we realize our deadness, then we are most ready for the new birth ("the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit").     Amen!!

He Lives To Help

                                         Hebrews 2:18
"For in that he himself hath suffered
being tempted he is able to succor
                                    them that are tempted"

Many people struggle under a dismal cloud of bad news.  They begin the day with it, continue the day with it, and end the day with it.  Isn't it time to hear something great?  Are you looking for something new in your life?  Would you like to meet and get to know the person that can change your life from now to eternity?  You must first have faith in Him and daily experience with Him.  This Person of the Good news is, "Jesus Christ."  He lived and died centuries ago.  But the "Good News" is that He defeated death, and still lives.  He lives to help you.  He lives to bring you and God together and give you a life worth living.
Isn't it time for the change that lights up each new day, and also shines it's bright beam into eternity?  Jesus is help for the present, and hope for the future.  Jesus lives to defeat both fear and death for you.  He lives to share His life with you.  Start your day with Good News Today!  The Good News of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.    Amen!!

Before You, Was The Lord's Covenant

                                         Deuteronomy 29:9
"Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and
do them, that ye may prosper in all that you do"

The Lord commanded Moses to make a Covenant with the children of Israel in Moab, besides the Covenant made with them in Horeb. They received God's commandments and His promise of returning to their home land in Horeb; which would have been a short trip, but ended up taking 40 years.  The Covenant God made in Moab, did not make the Covenant in Horeb void, it was a blessing to all.  "That he may establish thee today for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.  Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; but with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day." (Deuteronomy 29:13-15).  There you have it!  God made a Covenant with you before you were born, for you to be His child and Him to be your God.  But remember sin through Adam must be paid for by you or Jesus Christ.  Jesus paid that debt long ago; "So I chose Jesus."    Amen!!

The Power Of Healing Faith

                                         Luke 7:9
"I say unto you, I have not found
so great faith, no, not in Israel"

Healing Faith!  These two words, when used together in the name of "Jesus Christ" has power that some have never seen or experienced.  Why is it that way?  Because the healing power of God is not magic, it's a miracle based on "Faith in God."  In God's word Jesus plainly tells us about faith, when He healed a palsied man.  And when he saw their "Faith."  Key words saw and faith.  The Scripture is, "And when he saw their faith, he said unto him Man, thy sins, are forgiven thee (Luke 5:20).  When Jesus healed a Centurions Servant, is another time could see and feel faith.  "I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel" (Luke 7:9).
In the days when Jesus walked this earth people would follow or hunt Him down, so He could heal them or people would come to Jesus for someone else to be healed.  Now that my friends was and is true faith in the power of our living God.  Many of us have seen a sign on a Church billboard that read; "Healing Service Tonight."  The first thing that comes out of a lot of mouths is, "It's Fake, It's All Setup Before Hand."  Well if You are A Believer In Jesus Christ and serve God daily, then you would not be making comments like that.  Remember both party's most have true faith in the power of healing. When you go to a healing service, don't go half full, go filled with the Holy Spirit and watch God work.  Amen!!!

We Are Not Above One Another

                                        Luke 6:40
"The disciple is not above his master:
but every one that is perfect
                                 shall be as his master"

Luke and Matthew cover the topic of judging others, and leaves no questions to how a brother sees another brother and how we should treat each other.  I know that we all know what God's word says about judging, but I want to bring to light some faults in our daily life's today that is in the same category as judging one another.
First we must realize that we are striving to be Christ like in all things we do.  One of the first thing we battle is Pride! We don't have to throw our pride at others, they can see and feel what we are sending, that we are better than them. Some others are "Gossip" about some one that is not true and could hurt or ruin that person.  Hate, congregation separation, and these "non-called for beatings" of our children by other children.  All this happens because some one thinks their better than the next person.  We see this in all aspects of our world today.  Be it Christian or Nu-Christian. We all want to be seen as perfect, but let's not destroy someone else to do so.  The main thing to remember is; when you stand before God, you want to mirror Jesus Christ then you will be perfect.  Amen.!!

A Caring Heart And A Willing Mind

                                         2 Corinthians 8:12
"For if there be first a willing mind, it is
accepted according to that a man hath
and not according to that he hath not"

Paul was very confident of Titus when he was chosen to travel with Paul as messengers of the Churches and for the glory of Christ.  Titus had the love of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, however he was under the direction of the Churches and the guidance of Paul.  But in Macedonia Titus moved on his own.  He had the care in his heart and a willing mind to move forward on his own accord.  All Titus had was Christ in his heart and a willing mind, and He made a difference in peoples lives by sharing with them The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  What a great example for us to follow;  a man so eager to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and one who did not wait for some one to say it was ok to do so.  We all say we have the care in our heart for The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  But do we have the willing mind to act on it.   Amen!!

Don't Let God Slip Away

                                         Romans 1:19
"Because that which may be known of
God is manifest in them; for God
                                   hath showed it unto them"

God Created this world and the universe around us, for us to live and to know Him as the Father of life to all things.  The Scriptures show us as we study them that God makes no mistakes.  When God created you and I, He had a purpose for us.  His purpose is not hid from us, because it has been manifest in us and given to us in "God's Written Holy Word."
This world and what happens to it is under God's Control; as for us "Yes" it's the same,  God is in control.  The Bible says that our life's are predestined by God; however we live our lives is our choice.  But remember there is this thing called "The Guilt Of Mankind."  If we are ungodly and unrighteous, we hold the truth in unrighteousness and we shall feel the wrath of God.  I pray today that you will take an in depth look into your lives.  For at the coming of our Lord there will be no excuses.
I plead with you today,  "Don't let God Slip Away."  Amen!!!

We Are Not To Care Only For Ourselves!

                                         Matthew 25:40b
"Insomuch as you have done it unto one of
my brethren, ye have done it unto me"

If your not a Christian, I wonder if you have ever realized this.  Have you realized that you were not made to care only about yourself?  For that matter you are not made to care even primarily about yourself.  In the same way that we are born utterly dependent on our parents for survival and dependent on our spouse for sexual union, we were designed to be spiritually dependent on some one else---"On God Himself."  But according to the bible we have sinned and became separated from God.  We have rejected Him  and have become our own lords, and this self-centerness has left us open to a certain judgement of God. If you are a Christian I pray that you take these principles to heart, for we are prone to a weak conscience.  To keep our conscience strong we read God's Word daily.  Amen!!

Form Habits To Express God's Grace

                                         2 Corinthians 4:11
"That the life also of Jesus might be
made manifest in our mortal flesh"

We have to form habits to express what God's grace has done in us.  It is not a question of being saved from hell, but of being saved in order to manifest the life of the son of God in our mortal flesh, and it is the disagreeable things which make us exhibit whether or not we are manifesting His life.  Let's evaluate ourselves.  Do I manifest the essential sweetness of the Son of God, or the essential irritation of "myself" apart from Him?  The only thing that will enable me to enjoy the disagreeable is the keen enthusiasm of letting the life of the Son of God manifest itself in me. No matter how disagreeable a thing may be, say; "Lord I am delighted to obey Thee in this matter, and instantly the Son of God will press to the front, and there will be manifested in my human life that which glorifies Jesus.    Amen!!

Put Your Trust In God

                                        Proverbs 16:3
"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and
                            thy thoughts shall be established"

No matter what, your circumstances you can trust God.  God is able and willing to give you peace.  You experience peace only as you trust God and keep your attention focused on Him. A God based family is peace, and a peaceful home is a source of joy to it's members and to all who are touched by their lives.  We learn to keep our hearts pure through a life based faith.  No longer live out your own desires, live out only God's direction.  Giving your heart to the Lord is not just a once in awhile commitment, it is a daily living commitment.  Trust in God's wisdom and keep your heart's pure.   Amen!!

Love Turns Praise into Blessing

                                         Psalm 145: 10
"And the Saints shall bless thee"

When You and I praise God, there is the element of will, of intelligence, of desire, of intent; and in the Saints of God there is another element, namely that of love to Him, of reverent gratitude towards him, and turns the praise into blessing.  When you and I are Preaching, Teaching, or witnessing to others about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; let us not just say and teach;  "God helps those who helps themselves," but instead, we must show God that even if you have all the elements as I have stated above, the most important is love toward Him and others as well.   Amen!!

Passion Of Patience

                                          Habakkuk 2:3
"Though it tarry, wait for it"

Patience is not indifference; patience conveys the idea of immensely strong rock withstanding all overwhelming attacks.  The vision of God is the source of patience, because it imparts a moral inspiration.  Moses endured, not because he had an ideal of right and duty, but because he had a vision of God.  He "endured, as seeing Him who is 1invisible."  A man with the vision of God is not devoted to a cause or to any particular issue; he is devoted to God Himself.  You always know when the vision is of God because of the inspiration that comes with it; things come to life because everything is energized by God. If God gives you a time spiritually, as He gave His son actually, of temptation in the wilderness, with no word from Himself at all, endure, and the power to endure is there because you see God.  "Though it tarry, wait for it."    Amen!!!

Get Rid Of Wrong Traditions

                                         Genesis 22:10
"And Abraham stretched forth his hand,
and took the knife to slay his son"

Character determines how a man interprets God's will.  Abraham interpreted God's command to mean that he had to kill his son, and he could only leave this tradition behind by the pain of a tremendous ordeal.  God could not purify his faith in no other way.  If we obey what God says according to our sincere belief, God will break us from those traditions that misrepresent Him.  There are many such beliefs to be got rid of, such as; that God removes a child because the mother loves him too much, that's a devils lie! and a true travesty of the nature of God. If the devil can hinder us from taking the supreme climb and getting rid of wrong traditions about God, he will do so; but if we keep true to God, God will take us through an ordeal which will bring us out into a better knowledge of Himself.  Amen!!
